He carves heritage with colour and light, fixing it in memory.
Aita Foukhar · RachayaAmir N. Salame is a Lebanese painter, educator, and visual communication specialist whose practice moves between luminous documentary watercolour and the experimental visual language he calls Rituals.
From Rachaya and the Bekaa to Beirut, he records Ottoman and Mamluk arches, stone houses, markets, mosques, churches, ports, and landscapes threatened by rapid change.
He earned graduate degrees in multimedia, media, and visual communication design from the University of Alberta and a DES from the Lebanese University Faculty of Fine Arts. He later chaired Fine Arts and Design at the Lebanese International University.
