Yanta · Rachaya al-WadiBorn in Yanta, Rachaya al-Wadi in 1971, Amir Najib Salame is a Lebanese artist whose practice spans painting, design, and visual communication. His imagery grows from the Bekaa’s hills, stone houses, oak trees, and Beirut’s layered streets.
His realist watercolours use light and colour to document architecture under pressure from rapid change. Each work is a visual record, but also a personal poem about place and belonging.
He holds a Fine Arts diploma from the Lebanese University and graduate studies in multimedia and visual communication from the University of Alberta, Canada. He founded Amir Salame Art Space and has chaired Fine Arts and Design at the Lebanese International University.
